Giethoorn Is The Netherlands I Had Imagined
My first solo trip in the country
Facebook Memories reminded me today that exactly one year ago, I took a two-hour train ride and a 30-minute bus ride to Giethoorn village, which many know as the Venice of Holland. Since I never visited Venice, this place to me is Giethoorn of The Netherlands, and Venice shall be referred to as Giethoorn of Italy.
